Marlborough has secured a £350,000.00 package to build a new 85 bed Care Home in Beverley for main Contractor Walter Thompson and Client Crown Care.
The package, which includes supply and fix brickwork, blockwork, cast stone and internal scaffolding will start in April 2016 and complete in October 2016.
The award is the first to be received from new client Walter Thompson of Northallerton. Paul Donn
elly, Managing Director commented “Marlborough is noted for working with the major national Contractors and Developers but we are currently gaining a welcome niche client base with regional players such as Metnor and Walter Thompson. This demonstrates the ability to be flexible, cost effective and competitive whilst maintaining a quality approach”.
The Care Home will be built on the site of the Victoria Pub in Beverley which closed in 2015. The new home will provide over 100 jobs to boost the local economy.
The project will see the swift return of Marlborough to Beverley where the Flemingate Retail project was built in 2015.
