Marlborough’s commitment to health & safety is an intrinsic part of our evolution as a company, of who we are and what we do. It is a natural result of our respect for the people who work for us and those we work for.

We believe that health & safety should be in everyone’s consciousness. So we operate an Employee H&S Consultation Team to ensure consultation and participation of staff at all levels. This means that we have commitment at every level in our company to the continuous improvement of H&S performance.

With a full-time H&S Manager, accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001, ongoing involvement with IOSH, a formal management system and promotion of a proactive H&S approach, we are proud of our testament to a qualified and professional approach.

For us training and development are essential functions to support all our other business strategies, we simply cannot be the best we can or move forward without them.

They are a priority investment; we employ a qualified Training Manager and have our own dedicated Training Centre.

We are committed, not only to the future of our own company, but of the industry as a whole. This is why we support rolling Apprenticeship Schemes, Undergraduate Entry Schemes and company-funded qualifications. Because we think it’s important and because we want you to know about our excellence in this area, we also promote the continuous development of our people with CITB-approved Training Plans and recognition as Investors in People.
